We invite you to join our supportive virtual space designed specifically for Latina moms navigating the complex journey of motherhood. As we wrap up Maternal Mental Health Month, we’re hosting a free interactive workshop focused on practical strategies for intentional self-care and wellness.
This workshop is not therapy, but rather an empowering conversation about the importance of maternal wellbeing. We’ll explore the invisible load of motherhood – including the countless responsibilities, demands, and exhaustion that often go unacknowledged, and provide practical tools to help you prioritize your health and wellness despite cultural expectations and time limitations.
What You’ll Gain:
- Understanding of the “invisible load” of motherhood and its impact on wellness
- Myth-busting activities to challenge false beliefs about motherhood and self-care
- Practical tools to select and implement appropriate self-care practices
- Interactive exercises including guided meditation, affirmations, and stretching
- Strategies to overcome barriers like cultural expectations and “mom guilt”
- Journaling recommendations and resource guide for continued support
