Are you exhausted from always putting everyone else first – your children, your partner, your parents – while your own needs get pushed to the bottom of the list?
Do you feel guilty when you take time for yourself, hearing that voice in your head saying "una buena madre no hace eso"?
Are you tired of feeling caught between two worlds – the rich traditions of your Latina heritage and the realities of raising a family in modern America?
What Makes This Coaching Program Different?
We Focus On 3 Core Areas
Each month, we’ll meet via Zoom for powerful 2-hour group coaching sessions focused on our three core pillars:
The next cohort begins in May, but spaces are limited to ensure each mami receives personalized attention.
Asked Questions
No! Balanced Madrehood is for Latina moms at any stage of motherhood. Whether you’re a new mom, have teenagers, or are an empty nester, the principles of balance and cultural identity apply to all of us.
Absolutely! All group calls are held in the evening, and recordings are available if you can’t attend live. The materials are designed to be integrated into your busy life, not add more to your plate.
¡Claro que sí! Our community includes Latinas with all levels of Spanish fluency. The program is primarily in English with some Spanish expressions, but the cultural experiences and challenges transcend language.
Balanced Madrehood is specifically designed for the unique challenges Latina moms face navigating between cultures. Generic mom coaching doesn’t address the cultural expectations, family dynamics, and identity questions that are central to our experience.
Your comfort level is completely respected. While sharing enriches the experience, you’re never required to speak up during group calls. Many mamas start out quiet and find their voice as they build trust with the group. The 1:1 sessions also provide a private space for deeper work.
I am the founder of Viva la Mami, a community for modern Latina moms who want to redefine madrehood and find balance between tradition and progress.
As a bilingual, bicultural Latina mom of two boys, I know exactly what it’s like to feel like you’re constantly juggling multiple identities – never quite fitting into any one box perfectly.
I remember the day I realized I was drowning in expectations – my family’s, society’s, and worst of all, my own impossible standards. I was trying to be the perfect mother who always put her children first, the dutiful daughter who respected every tradition, the supportive wife, and still somehow maintain my own identity. I was exhausted, resentful, and completely lost.
That’s when I knew something had to change. I needed to find balance – to honor my heritage while creating my own definition of what it means to be a Latina mom today.
This is why I created Balanced Madrehood.
This isn’t just another generic mom coaching program. This is a sacred space created specifically for Latina moms like us who are navigating the beautiful, messy, and sometimes contradictory experience of motherhood through a cultural lens.
